Letting Go

Now, along with all the other sick ideas and mind-washing crap in this world, these two words belong in the same category. Oh yeah, just let go and let life take you away. Or let go and do whatever you wish. Now, this would make sense if it actually talked about good ambitions and happy thoughts. The examples i gave are nothing more than a nonchalant attitude about life involving wordly things like, drugs, drinking, ditching class, and living a life where hard work doesn't matter.
What I wanted to talk about is the positive meaning of letting go. Letting go means leaving everything behind you, no matter what you have done in the past. Letting go is letting the smooth surf take you to unimaginable places you've never heard of. Letting go is not looking back, not looking forward, but simply living now and discovering something later. Sometimes i ask myself, 'What will I become in the future?' But most times I know I shouldn't worry because I need to give it my best shot and let life take me there. It's no use fighting the current, letting past experiences leave you trailing behind in a sea of mistakes. Moving on. My new Years Resolution will be...well, resolved! Because i can't let the past block the view of the future. My future. And I'm ready to ride the current until I get bored. haha and that's just the way it goes.

Spring Semester 2017

After the mission, there comes a time in your life where everything starts to flow back together again. For me, that was the Spring semester of 2017. Just 4 months off of my mission. These times are crucial. I do remember how hard it was for me to find a job and how difficult the social scene was back at school. I was not only a weirdo around my friends (though somehow still the same) but dating was also a struggle. There's this idea (especially now in our culture) that every return missionary NEEDS to get married 6 months to a year after their missions. Now, I applaud those who can actually manage to make that work. So, in some weird way, I thought that dating would be fairly easy, right? Wrong. I actually managed to get zero dates fall semester. Having Confidence No Matter What

Guys, let's be honest, I don't think anyone (me most of all) has mastered this whole confidence thing. So I'm not writing this out of my own experience of having this amazing confidence, but what I have observed from other people and what I have learned as someone who grew up being not confident in herself.
